Hey Everyone, Julia Alford Fowler, composer extraordinaire and wife of Buddy Mercury… will be having a recital on Saturday March 29th at Seven Thirty, at Church of the Holy Trinity. Her pieces are as challenging as they are beautiful so come on out.
The men of mercury head toward the shining pearl on the delaware river…Philadelphia, where dreams are won and lost, the van ended up being too much of a burden and the guys have to return home to recoup some loses. They have got new songs loaded in the chamber, so be looking for some to appear on the myspace… until then, keep your eyes on this site for some really fun updates on the sponsor a zombie project. Until then…
as many of you know, the boys have always had trouble with vehicles of the four wheeled variety. Well, on their way to their show last night the front passenger tire fell off (they didn’t get a flat or lose the wheel, the entire bearing seized up and caused the tire to stop turning, ripping the entire tire off.)So now they’re holed up in a hotel in Benton Harbor, Michigan…anyone want to sponsor a zombie?
With guitars and van in hand the boys of Mercury will be hitting the asphalt this Friday, February 29th to astonish audiences with feats of music and overtly melodramatic and melancholy monsters. Keep one shifty eye on this website and the other on the road to the east as Philadelphia’s only Zombie Activists head to your quaint hamlet. clique here to see where our beloved zombie dudes will be laying down the punk rock pain in a municipality near you, or clique on the date on the right to see where they’ll be appearing.
