Greetings! If you’re viewing this page we’d like to invite you to check out our new album “Kilroy”, the final installment in our LP “Monster Series”

Get it out at our BANDCAMP!

This September, Mercury Radio Theater will release Kilroy the final installment of the band’s critically acclaimed “Monster Trilogy,” which also includes Death and Life of the Undead Boy and The Blue Eyed Model. The release of Kilroy tells the tale of an elderly werewolf who struggles to retain his terrifying grip on a community as he ages.

Mercury Radio Theater has been creating these strange fables for a public eager for their amalgamation of experimental/contrapuntal/instrumental/punk/surf style. After performing on stages across the United States for the past decade, Mercury took time out from touring to write and record Kilroy, their most ambitious album to date.

While still displaying Buddy Mercury`s trademark hard-boiled Gretsch guitar soaring over the rhythm section of teeth-ground bassist Jason Todd and punctilious percussionist Joe Getz, Kilroy is a departure for the band, who added strings, horns, accordion and a men’s choir to their familiar dark sound. As with the previous albums in the “Monster Trilogy”, Mercury Radio Theater has forgone vocal tracks in favor of a disembodied narrator, while the onstage performance is supplemented with projected visuals for the group’s tales of terror.
